U-D High Wins
Second Swim Title
University of Detroit High piled up 93 points to second place Austin Sunday to win its second straight Catholic League swimming title at Oakland University.
The star of the meet was Steve Waszak who set a league and pool record 54.6 in the 100-yard butterfly and also won the individual medley. Waszak's time in the butterfly was the fastest posted by a Michigan schoolboy this season.
U-D High also had another double winner in Harry Duffield, who won both the 200 and 400-yard freestyles.
